Flexible Spending Accounts
FSAs help you set aside pre-tax dollars for health care and dependent care expenses, saving you money and giving you more control over your annual budget.
How it Works
Your pre-tax contribution is front-loaded by your employer at the start of the plan year, so you have immediate access to funds from day one.
Contributions
Decide how much you'll contribute, up to the IRS maximum. Funds are deducted from each paycheck before taxes and deposited into your FSA.
Purchases
When you have an eligible expense, you'll use tax-free funds from your account to pay for it.
Payment Methods
You'll receive a debit card to pay for the expense at purchase or pay out of pocket and submit a claim for reimbursement online.
Termination
If you leave the company, remaining funds in your FSA are forfeited along with the account.
Your Account Options
Health Care FSA
Health Care FSA funds can be used for a variety of medical expenses , including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance for doctor visits, surgeries, and X-Rays. They also cover dental and vision expenses.

You can roll over up to $680 of unused funds into the next year plan, giving you a small financial cushion for future expenses. Any extra funds above this amount won't roll over, so plan your contributions carefully.
Dependent Care FSA
Dependent Care FSA Funds can be used for eligible expenses like daycare and caregiving services. expenses must be for a dependent child under the age of 13 or a dependent adults (like a parent or spouse) who cannot care for themselves.

There is no rollover for the Dependent Care FSA. The IRS's "Use It or Lose It" rule means that any unspent FSA dollars at the end of the plan year will go away, so be sure to use them up!
